Let's Create Beautiful Collages and Mixed Media Florals

Over the years, I’ve explored florals in alcohol inks, encaustic wax, and mixed media. But this is the first time that I am busting out of my comfort zone (what comfort zone?) and discovering the additional technique of collage to bring a painting to a whole new level. Besides, it is so much fun and I think we are all in need of more joy in our lives right now.

And, you can always count on me to I guide you in each step of the process. Enrolling in one of my Online Studio Workshops feels like you are sitting side by side with me as we work through the joyful process together.

We’ll begin with gathering supplies for your own beautiful floral arrangements. I’ll share with you my secrets to finding that perfect vase, lessons on creating your own unique collage paper and new ways to think about your artwork.

This class is all about discovering your unique voice in your floral collage and mixed media arrangements.

As always, I will set a strong foundation for your collage florals, how to think about design elements and composition, how to choose the best color palettes either in monogrammatic or vibrant colors, where to find the best visual inspiration (grab your phone) how to add oil pastels to your acrylic florals to bring out pops of color, and more.

Workshop Format

THE ONLINE STUDIO WORKSHOP IS PRE-RECORDED AND IS HOSTED ON THE EASY-TO-USE THINKIFIC PLATFORM.

The workshop is designed for you to work at your own pace, and you receive instant access to all of the workshop content when you login with your Thinkific account name and password (you will be prompted to create a free account upon registering if you don't already have one as one of my past students).

I have 23 years as an educator, hold a Ph.D. in education, love teaching students of all levels, and taking my art to new levels.
